Avy Course on Saturday March 1, 2008

9 am in the Kebler trailhead parking lot.

Snowest Forum Ride

The Snowest Colorado 4M ride went off without a hitch. It was great to see the latest mountain sleds all performing side by side. The XP, the Dragon, M7's and M1000's and the turboed Nitro all gave an impresive showing and kicked butt in the Kebler area snowpack.

Irwin Lodge has new Owners

The new owners would like to remind everyone that Irwin lodge is private property, and to tread lightly as you pass through on the road and main trail. Last year some property damage was caused by people sledding over buildings. There are also some mining hazards on the propertry.. If we all behave we may get to keep riding above the lodge till it resumes operation, but the owners do have a right to close their property to snowmobile access. Please put the word out.

Forest Plan Revision

Molybdenum, we might share our riding area with a mine in the near future.

Club News

It's sledding season again!!

post

Our trails are multiple use. Show other users respect out there. Dont pass other users going wide open. Pass other sleds at a reasonable speed, and slow Way down to pass non moto users. Please don't bring loud sleds to ride here. Find a way to put a good silencer on you modded or turboed sleds.Don't himark in Red Lady Bowl, Its the most popular backcountry ski run we have, lets keep it down hill only.

Hill Etiquette

If a rider is stuck on a hill everyone else must stay off that hill. Don't even go to help dig if its a hill that could slide. Keep it down to one person at a time in avalanche terrain. Himarking over or under a stuck rider is never acceptable.
